After spending almost a decade in the produce business working with a local grower-shipper of California Table Grapes, and Citrus, Robert De La Torre was frustrated that his quality produce was not getting to its destination by the same quality of transportation. In October of 2007 De la Torre partnered with Gabriel Tobias, to form Horizon Transportation Services, LLC (H.T.S., LLC.). Their goal was to offer on time deliveries, in transit communication, and a peace of mind for produce customers.
